Emma Watson - Chanel spring 2010 haute couture highlights

January 27, 2010 |11:30 | Gossips  By : Team X

Emma Watson - Chanel spring 2010 haute couture highlightsChanel's spring 2010 couture collection starred spangled silver accessories, futuristic mirror embellishments and plenty of red carpet gowns.

Uncle Karl has in fact done it again, and given the strength of the collection shown in Paris, you would have to expect a pastel surge on red carpets as soon as these frocks get back to atelier.

Parts of the collection look designed for specific VIP clients, and in this economic client, you'd be nuts not to. Kylie would look smashing in the crystal-embellished grey jacket any day of the week.

Gaga can no doubt do something with the mirroed pink silk dress - altered, of course, to match her extreme wardrobe requirements. Emma Watson is the ideal candidate for the gold shift - unforgiving on those with any sign of a hip.

Interestingly for Chanel, there was not a single sailor stripe or gold button. The label's stock in trade was shelved for another day, while silvers and shimmer took over.

Emma Watson - Trend alert The Trench CoatEmma Watson's modelled it and now Victoria Beckham has shown how we should be wearing Burberry's SS2010 trench coat.

The ex Spice Girl, turned designer was spotted wearing the classic beige coat on two separate occasions over the weekend.

Once whilst shopping with her gorgeous other half and secondly as she was leaving the D&G headquarters.

We think a trench coat is perfect for those transitional spring evenings, providing a fashionable warmth without being too bulky, and it was one of the key items on the runways at last year's fashion week.

However, we think sticking to leggings and boots may be more of an option than Victoria's bare legs and skyscraper heels.
