Emma Watson is acting in a student run play for free. The mega million dollar actress is part of Brown University’s production of the Anton Chekhov play Three Sisters. The play, which will run from March 12 - 15th is free to students and faculty with current Brown ID. No 10% cut for her reps. Somewhere in the UK, her agent is weeping.

Her matriculation to Brown University drew headlines and media coverage. And it was for good reason: She's one of three young stars of the immensely popular Harry Potter movies and among the brightest young stars in Hollywood. It was only a matter of time before Emma Watson took to the stage at her Ivy League school.

Watson, a freshman, will perform in a student-run production of Anton Chekhov's Three Sisters, the Huffington Post reports. There will be six performances of the century-old play, which will run from March 11 through March 15, according to the play's Facebook page.

ONE of Proserpine High School’s high achievers for 2009 has been rewarded as the winner of the Zonta International Young Women in Public Affairs Awards Program for the Whitsunday region.

Emma Watson, who finished her school career with an OP2 score and has now started a degree in Environmental Management (Sustainable Development).

At the University of Queensland, blew the judges away with her application for the competition, winning with a record score for the region.

Her application, which demonstrated her dedication to the volunteer sector with involvement in the school music program.

The student council, Rotary Boat Show, Zonta birthing kit program, Meals on Wheels and Relay for Life to name a few, will be judged at state level in May.

“It’s been really nice to be on the other side of the camera for once. I’ve really enjoyed the styling, planning where we were going to have the shoot, choosing the models, hair and make-up. I chose the location as it had so much within it.

There is an orchard, there is a place to have a tea party, there’s a swing, beautiful scenery, a lake, plants and flowers.

Helena Bonham Carter has given an interview in which she talks about her time in the final Harry Potter film - or films as the case may be - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and the scene where she gets to play Emma Watson's character Hermione. Talking about a scene where Hermione drinks a potion that enables her to assume the identity of Bellatrix Lestrange, who Helena plays, the kooky british actress says;

"Rather than put Emma Watson in a helluva load of make-up they just said, 'Now you go act like Hermione'. That was fun, because I always wanted to be Hermione.It was great fun. [I was] looking at Dan [Radcliffe] and Rupert [Grint] and they were treating me as if I was 17." Helena fans better not get their hopes up though - she only features in the second half of the film, which won't be out until 2011.
